New iPhone design and display
The design is rumoured to have the same design as the iPhone XS max and might also have the OLED displays, other rumours believe Apple will stick with LEDs because of the high price of OLED displays.
Apple has also filed a patent for a phone with a flexible, hinged display in a clamshell design. The patent was filed in October of 2018 and published on 14th of February of 2019. This means that the iPhone might be getting into the foldable trend.
Camera
It has been confirmed that Apple is planning on introducing the triple lens camera system for one if the iPhones that will be launched in 2019. iPhone 11 will have a 10 MP front facing camera and that the rear camera will have 14MP and 10MP lenses,and a third one that is unknown at the moment The phone will also feature a front-facing TrueDepth Camera System that enables Face ID.
Battery and charging
The phone will feature a 4000 mAh battery that will offer a longer battery life.
The new iPhone is also said to feature bilateral wireless charging and USB-C spot. Rumors are indicating a swap to the new connector while others suggest Apple will stick with Lightning.
Other features
The new iPhone will most likely feature frosted glass back and ultra-wide band support,which would offer improvements to indoor positioning and navigation.
Apple may also planning to implement support for WiFi 6 which will bring higher data rates, increased capacity, better performance in dense environments.
Price and release date
All iPhones cost a fortune especially the newest models, iPhone 11 price will most likely start at $999 (approximately KES100,000) just like iPhone X and XS.
Apple has been releasing all its iPhones in September since 2012 when they released the iPhone 5. The date of the release is currently unknown. However, rumors have it that it will either be September 17th or September 18th.
